Katherine Patterson received her BFA from The Cooper Union School of Art and her MFA at New Hampshire Institute of Art. While there, she discovered her personal themes of landscape, time, and memory that she continues to explore through drawing, painting, and cyanotype. Her work has been shown at the Zabriskie Gallery and Brooklyn Artist's Gym, Momenta Gallery, MicroMuseum and NurtureArt Gallery in Brooklyn. Regionally, she has shown her work at the Limner Gallery in Hudson, NY, Saratoga Arts Center, The Hyde Collection in Glens Falls, Pelham Art Center, and Chautauqua Institute, among others. A New York State resident for over fifty years, she currently lives in Chatham with her husband and two sons and teaches art at the Hawthorne Valley Waldorf School.
